Musings and Opportunities – Google AdWords 6.26.12

Attended Google Agency Exchange seminar yesterday. Focus was on tools available in Google AdWords and Google Analytics. Interesting to note that in the major online marketing sectors, Google has a footprint in each, through acquisitions. This means “reach” is extensive (8 out of 10). Retargeting was addressed as well — excellent opportunities for B-to-B companies as purchase cycles tend to be longer. What is retargeting? Essentially it’s presenting related Ads to groups of people as they go from website to website (not all websites accept Ads but many do of course)..
